Running in Virginia

Running in Virginia is a 501c3 non-profit led by Carole Gabrielson, an avid runner; Charlotte Powers, a long-time long-distance runner; and Josh Gabrielson, a tech geek and runner supporter.

Our non-profit strives to create a platform in which all runners in Virginia and across the nation are encouraged, engaged, and informed through lively discussion and unbiased reviews on all things running.

Our Non-profit

Through your financial support, money raised goes directly to helping youth in various middle and high schools all across the Commonwealth.

These teens come from families who are at or below the poverty line.

We accept donations and raise money through Paypal, Patreon, and other means, all of which are tax-deductible to you.

We work with coaches and staff in these schools to help identify needs and help obtain the gear they need for a successful racing season.

Our Podcast

We reach thousands of people all across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic to help educate, inspire, and review races and equipment, like running shoes.

The podcast is used to help our mission of helping financially disadvantaged youth with obtaining affordable running shoes, spikes, socks, or other gear needed to have a successful racing season.
